Going online is now a daily routine for most of us, and we always feel free and relax when we are online because we can do anything and search for anything we want. Although there are many positive sides going online or using the social media, but are you safe online? We always know that online issues like cyber bullying, online scam, identity theft and even hackers does exist, but have you ever wonder that this will happen to you one day?

I was honored to be invited to join a forum that was organized by Norton to talk about some online safety tips and also how technology has changed parenting in the digital age. Although I am still not a parent, (OBVIOUSLY) Hahahhaa... but it was a great opportunity for me to share some of my personal experience to the parenting media and also some parenting bloggers. I know many of you may also have experience some same issues as I do online, but what can we do?

The forum was conducted by (L-R):
Nigel Tan, Director of Systems Engineering, Symantec Malaysia
Jason Mok, Consumer Sales Manager, Symantec Malaysia
Josephine Hoh, Country Director, Symantec Malaysia
Yu Wui Wui, Corporate Communications Senior Manager, Symantec Malaysia

The two online issues that I am facing is actually identity theft and also cyber bullying. I actually did shared during the forum that identity theft could be very dangerous because anyone could be you, and the person that you are talking to online could be anyone. Just to make it clear, identity theft means someone that uses your pictures or personal information to create a fake account to be you. This is something that I hate a lot, because I know that there are many "fakers" out there that is using my pictures to create account on FB/ WeChat. I do not know what is their objective of doing this, but I really hope all of you won't fall this because there was once my follower told me that this "faker" at WeChat uses my pictures to chat with her, and also intended to ask her out. Seriously?? WTF??!! This is damn dangerous ok! She really did believe that the fake account is me, until she PM my Facebook page to verify, and I told her that it's a fake account! Luckily she asked me before she really went out with that "faker", if not really don't know what will happen. OMG! Below are my official social media platform, other than that IT'S ALL FAKERS!!
My official social media platform:
Another issue is cyber bullying, and maybe some of you thinks that it's not a serious issue but it does cause suicide and death in other country. Actually cyber bullying is an emotional and physiological attack towards someone online. It could be writing or commenting negative/harsh comments on someone, or even sharing content that harms and brings negative impact towards an individual. If you have read my post on haters, it's actually also a form of cyber bullying. At first, I will take it personally when people comment negative thing on my pictures, and start retaliate back. But after a while, I would think what's the point? Respond actually gives them the reaction they seek, so just KEEP CALM AND IGNORE! LOL... You don't know the real identity of that person, but they do know who you are. So why start a war? It's their freedom to comment, but it's also my right to BLOCK them and DELETE their comments! Hahhah.. This is why EQ is so important for us to stay calm. LOL...

Here are a few simple tips you can follow to protect yourself on social networks:

·    Be Discrete: Be careful of what you post in your profile page, a forum, instant message, or any form of electronic communication to help thwart possible ID theft of other forms of malicious threats. Stuff like personal and business names, addresses, phone numbers, birth dates etc. are potentially dangerous to have fully exposed. Be more general in your posts/information making it harder for someone to potentially use the information against you.

·     Skepticism is your friend: While social network sites have tons of useful and useless information, it is important that you keep a high level of skepticism. People often lie for their own gain, or just spout rubbish out of ignorance.

·     Think Before You Speak You Mind: Although the internet does provide a small level of anonymity things can sometimes come back and bite you in the rear. This includes anything from obscenity, insults, or wild statements. Be chill, be professional. Simply put, think before you type.

·    Professionalism is your friend: Everything you put online including the photos, videos and status updates are there for the world to see. Only post information that you don’t mind people knowing. Besides cyber thieves, often university admissions teams and potentials employers will look at your social networking profile to find out more about you. So be sensible and professional.

·     Be Vigilant: Well ever think if that person you’re talking to is who they say they are? People aren’t always who they say they are. And until you can somehow verify the information they give you, never reveal any personal, financial, or business information.

·     Check Your Privacy Settings: Social networks have sometimes been notorious for allowing others to see your information, even if they are not your “friend”. However, they will also have available their privacy guidelines/rules. Review the privacy settings and restrict the access to your personal information.

·    Beware of fake invitations: Beware of fake invitations on social media. Do not accept invitations to events with incentives such as free gifts on social networks. Joining usually requires personal and credit information, which could open you up to fraud or attacks.

It was also very generous of them to give me this Norton 360 Multi-Device that could protect up to 5 devices. Now all my mobile devices is fully protected from viruses, scam and other shits that happen online. Hahahaa...

Alright guys, I know many of you reading my blog is still in school studying and some of you are already experiencing working life just like me. So for this post it's actually something that I would like to share to everyone. I don't really share tips and thoughts on my blog often, but when I do it's really something that I think it's important for all of us! The poster above caught my attention when I was browsing the web, I think it's because of the words (or maybe it's the banana? Hahaha) I suddenly realize how important it is to stay healthy with all the stress from assignments and work, from late night sleeping and also spending too much time in front of the computer! LOL...

So when I was in uni, I usually sleep really late sometimes because of assignments but this does not concern me a lot because I know that I could sleep in the class! *shhhh* But when I started working, I realize how important sufficient sleep is to our body, and how lack of sleep could results in many negative ways. This is where I realize that I should really care more for my health, and it's also one of my 2014 resolution to start a healthy lifestyle!

So here are 8 tips that I would like to share for a healthier life.

1. Drink Enough Water

It is really important to have water in our body, and drinking enough water a day is very important to keep us hydrated. Drink at least 1.5-2litres water per day, and I will always drink at least a glass of water every morning when I wake up to clear my system.

2. Sleep Enough

As I mentioned just now, sleep is really important for our health too. How can we concentrate on our studies or work when we do not have the energy? So please have at least 8 hours of sleep per day. I know it's kinda hard for people like us, because we just like to stay up late and browse the internet or watch dramas till 3-4am. But try to minimize this bad habit and start sleeping earlier. I seriously have to finish this post ASAP so that I could jump to my bed and get 8 hours of sleep. LOL...

3. Healthy Food, Healthy Life

I understand that all of us love snacks, and we could just munch anything when we are bored, when we are watching the TV or even when we are not hungry. LOL... We should consume more food like fruits, vegetable, meat that are rich in protein, vitamin and minerals.

4. Have Your Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we should not skip it! So don't be a lazy bum, just get up a little earlier, spend 10-15mins and you could prepare a healthy breakfast.

5. Exercise

Yes, we have to move it move it! If you do follow my Instagram, you will probably know that I have sign up for gym session at Celebrity Fitness. I like this place because it has an outlet near my house, and also a good environment to exercise. People always have the misconception that going to the gym is to build muscle, but actually it's a good place to exercise and just sweat it out! There is so many advantages in physical activities, and it's the best way to build your muscle and also your stamina. I also did engage with a personal trainer from Celebrity Fitness. They provide and help me to not only train my muscle but they also have some cardio exercise session to train my stamina. I always feel so fresh after sweating.

6. Social Connection

We will die without Facebook and be depressed if we can't log in to Instagram just for one day right? LOL... This is totally how most of us are now, and sometimes I feel that it's  kinda wtf?! Hahhahaa... But since we are always so actively on social media, why not be more active in real life social connection. Meeting new people, going out with friends, talking face to face is very crucial too in staying healthy. Experts say that how socially connected a person tends to be is one of the most important ways of predicting his health and independence in later years.

7. Explore New Activity

Always try something new in life, try to involve family and friends for outdoor activity to build better relationship and also build a better bond between each other. This helps to releases stress and also makes us happy! Happy people always live longer! Hahahaha...

This is my last and final tips. Just enjoy life!! There is always so many reason in life for us to smile everyday, for us to be happy and to always think positive! Positive mind make us happy, and when we are happy it brings us good health! :)

So these are a few tips that I will follow for a healthier life, and I hope that it could encourage everyone of you to live a healthier life too!

Hey, wazzup? I am looking at you! Hahhaa.. It's really a busy week for me, with loads of work to do but I'm glad that I'm still coping up with work. I just realize how much I miss uni life and I can't wait to end my internship and go back to school!! I know it's sounds so wtf, but it's true. LOL... Uni life is really so much better than working life. Haizzz....

Growing up does not just let you see how many obstacle and pressure you will be facing, but also having a clearer sight on how humanity is. It is very saddening to see how people around you could fake a smile in front of you but then start bitching behind you! Bitch please, if you dislike me then don't appear in front of me, it's not like I want to see you in my life either! Why people have to be so selfish but not help others when they can? I am not saying all these because something happen to me recently, but just that sometimes all these random thoughts of life will just float in my mind and this is where I will rant it out. LOL... I will just stop here because I don't like to have to much negative energy here in my blog, and I want everyone reading my blog to be happy too. :)

So I guess writing about my outfit is something happy for me. LOL... If you are staying in Malaysia, I bet most of you can't stand the heat as the temperature here recently is freaking HOT!! I am not a person that sweats a lot, but this weather is helping me to sweat. Hahaha.. So whenever I go out now, my outfit have to stay simple, minimal and of course comfortable. For this outfit, I tried something new which is my first time wearing a suspender. It's not something that I will shop for, but since I got this as my Christmas present last year from my aunt, I was thinking why not use it and create another style? As I mentioned before, fashion is all about being bold and daring, especially being a fashion blogger.

Really love this black top, because it's actually a mesh top that is absolutely suitable to wear during such hot weather that provides cooling "ventilation". Hahhaa.. For you guys that still don't know what is a mesh top, it's the material that has small small holes on top. LOL... Look at the image below and you will get me on where the "ventilation" is coming from. Hahaha... I also like how the silver suspender creates an attention for the top and it makes me feels like some kind of street performer. wtf right? I don't know why also. Hahaha...

I'm not sure if everyone of you have this problem, but this problem definitely happen to me always. You know when you have to go for a short trip or holiday, and the moment when you start packing your luggage, it seems like you have the whole closet to fit in that little luggage? LOL... There is like so many clothes that you wanna bring, because different clothes or colour have to matched with a different piece. But there is always a solution for a problem. How can we bring less but have more style?

If you guys follow my Instagram, you may have seen a few outfit that I am gonna share. But now let me share a few tips on what to bring if you are going for a holiday.

Always bear in mind to bring a pair of pants that is so versatile and could match every outfit of yours. So for me, I have chose a denim jeans and also a denim jacket as my staple element because everything goes well with denim. So for this first outfit, I matched it with a more interesting floral print shirt but still keeping it simple by choosing a black piece because black is also another element that matches everything well. And it's always fun to match something that is so casual on the outside with the denim jacket with something that looks smart in the inside with a button up collar shirt.

Second day outfit is where you could play more with layering which is one of my favourite. Can you guys spot something familiar? Hahhaa... I've changed my yesterday's smart casual look into a more street style outfit, and still using the same piece from yesterday. Wearing an oversize top, a denim jacket and my black floral print shirt tied on waist, creates three layer visual for the whole look.

Third and last outfit of the day. I will sum this whole look with 3 words : t-shirt, shirt and jacket. Simple coordinate with statement accessorize and prints. To have a cooler look? Add on a shades and you're swag as hell! Hahahhaa... So this is how we should play around with our outfit, and it helps a lot in saving space for new clothes in your luggage and also overweight issue if you're boarding a plane. LOL...

So how many of you out there loves to drink coffee and explore new coffee places around town? *Me me me!!* Hahhaa.. wtf! Own self ask then own self answer. Alright, I bet youngsters like me and you really like cool cafe because it's such a great hangout place to just chill and sometimes even great setting for pictures too right? LOL

So recently there is a new mall near my place call One City Mall. It is located at USJ 25 and to be honest, it is so near my place but I have not been there before. Hahhaa... So just a few weeks back, me and my friends decided to check out the mall and see if there is anything cool in there. Surprisingly the mall is still quite new, so there is nothing much to shop but it has more restaurant and cafe. And this is where we stumble upon this newly open cafe, Charlie Chaplin Cafe.

The big Charlie Chaplin poster at the main entrance did caught my attention, and since he is such a famous and iconic person, I will really like to check out how this cafe brings out the theme of Charlie Chaplin. Walking in the cafe, it somehow has a very vintage British interior design . It seems like I booked the whole cafe because there was no customers during my visit, and it was so great to just take pictures at every corner without staring eyes from the public. Hahhaha... As you can see, the whole cafe is light up with yellow lights that made the whole atmosphere dim but relaxing. I also love the umbrella decoration that was hanging from the ceiling and also Charlie Chaplin's movie playing on the wall. So when you're bored chatting, full eating, the movie does entertain you. LOL...

The food served was mostly in a small portion, but the price is not small portion price la. Hahhaa.. But to be honest, the food tasted quite good and I will recommend the garlic bread with chicken on top. I forgotten the name of that dish, but I do remember it is nice. LOL... So just show the pic to the waiter when you want to order it. ;) The teapot and cups is also very vintage, with beautiful details of floral design and the gold lining enhance the classy and elegance of the environment.

At One City, they have this sky park which is the roof top bar and restaurant. So I went up and took some outfit post which cannot be miss (hahahaha) and also to check out the view from above. Although it's a roof top place, but the view is actually not very nice because what you see is just construction work and the road. So nothing special about the roof top place.

So simple outfit is always my choice if it's going to places like cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee. T-shirt and jeans could be very comfortable and simple, but at the same time it's also very fashionable. I am just wearing a simple grey t-shirt with my skinny jeans and paired it with a boots for that street look and I am all ready to go out. This does not even need to spend much time in thinking how to style it, because it's a "never go wrong" outfit for men. LOL...
