Denim Never Dies

Denim fashion is something that has lasted for more than half a century, and yet is still one of the leading fashion outfit. I can just say that denim never dies. There's a reason why denim never seems to go out of fashion. It's among the most versatile and practical fabrics, beloved in its time by soldiers, railway workers and, of course, since the mid-1950s, by any fashion follower worth his or her credentials.

For my recent outfit, I have matched denim with denim. I know many people question, won't it be weird to match denim with denim? For me, the answer is NO. I believe that there is no rules in fashion, but how your personality brings it. There is always something different to create fashion.

By knowing that denim fashion will never fade, I have always love denim outfit. It is casual and comfortable, and most importantly still fashionable. I have matched a bleached grey denim top with a denim pants. I like the bleached denim top because it will have a contrast from darker to lighter colour, which makes the top not so boring.

some weird expression

If you do read my blog often, you will know that I'm a spike addict. So how can I not spice up this outfit with some spikes.

diy some spikes on the upper arm area of the denim shirt
Another thing that I am going to introduce is my newly spiked bag. I really like to diy spikes and studs on most of my outfit and accessories. And I like how I changed this normal looking black bag to something that has a more distinct style. A reminder to anyone of you that do diy on spikes and studs too, you must be extra careful while you are poking the hole or even screwing the spikes. I hurt myself because of spiking this bag.

That's all for this outfit post, as a conclusion, you could buy a denim top or jeans, wear it as fashionable as you can now. Keep it for 10-20 years, and then yet still wearing it fashionably. Denim fashion never fade.

Jogoya Dinner

Went to Jogoya Buffet restaurant that is located at Starhill Gallery for dinner last Tuesday. They were having a mid autumn special deals, which is only RM59.90++ for per person and offer is valid from 10th-28th September 2012.

It was actually my first time dining in Jogoya, and have been craving for it a long time.I heard that the food is very delicious and with many varieties. And yes, it's true!! Although it's a Japanese buffet restaurant, but they do also serve many other cuisines too. I really love the interior design, because it gives a more comfortable and relaxing environment to enjoy our meal.

They served so many food, that I have actually forgotten what I ate and which is my favourite but I can guarantee that mostly all of the food is delicious. But what I like most is the dessert part! For desert, my favourite is the chocolate fountain. Marshmallow dip into the flowing chocolate fountain, what can be better!! And for ice-cram, they serve Häagen-Dazs and New Zealand Natural ice cream. It is totally a dessert paradise for dessert lover. Other than that, they also have cakes, pies, tart and of course Malaysia authentic dessert, Ais kacang. It was really a satisfied meal dining at Jogoya.

Let's move on, how can I not blog about my outfit of the day? This outfit, it's black. Yup,simple explanation. One of my favourite colour and also one of the colour that dominates my wardrobe. I wore a black shirt that have diy studs on the button and matched it with a black leather texture pants. To have a clearer look from the top and bottom, I wore a white belt to create the contrast. To spice up my top, I wore one of my favourite collar chain. It's a golden skeleton collar chain with dangling spikes.

White on White

Just recently, I have been working freelance for a Korean accessories store in Sunway Pyramid. It was actually quite a good experience working for them. But the requirement for this job is that we have to wear all white. So I'm gonna blog about my "white on white" working outfit.

My favourite colour is black and white, so I usually mix and match them. But pure white, is really not what I will wear often, and especially white pants is something that does not exist in my wardrobe. But because of the job, I have to go and buy a white pants. I believe that everyone understand that why white usually is not a choice, because white outfit do really get dirty easily. And especially pants, I have no idea why, but it's like the part that could be get dirty the most.

So although pure white is not what I will try, but after matching white on white, the outcome of the whole outfit is actually not bad. I realize that white colour brings out the word classy in an outfit. For my outfit, I actually matched a white shirt with a white jacket to reduce the formality but to add in some young feeling.

Loving the white on white?
